Cowboys Take Part in Camping World Bowl's Day for Kids

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Oklahoma State football team spent its morning with children from the surrounding Orlando community as part of the Camping World Bowl Day for Kids at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.

Tuesday's activities saw each Cowboy football player, as well as member of the Virginia Tech squad, paired up with a child. After that, the trios were left to explore the venue, taking part in activities such as bowling, air hockey and various arcade games.

"Anytime you get to hang out with some kids and just go do some things with them, it's always a good experience," quarterback Mason Rudolph said. "You feel like you can help make an impact in a short period of time."

OSU's time at the Day for Kids marked a continuation of several Orlando-based experiences for the Cowboys, who have spent parts of the past two days at Universal Studios and Disney's Magic Kingdom.

"I think you have to have a good balance of practice, getting quality reps, as well as having some time to lounge and have fun with your teammates," Rudolph said of the Cowboys' recent experiences during the bowl trip. "Its been a great experience. We're going to continue to enjoy this, then we'll go out to practice later and focus up.

With Thursday's Camping World Bowl looming, the Cowboys will return to the practice field this afternoon to being their final days of preparation ahead of a clash with No. 22 Virginia Tech. Kickoff is set for 4:15 p.m. CT on ESPN.
