ORLANDO, Fla. – The Oklahoma State football team took a short break from its Camping World Bowl preparation to visit Universal Studios Sunday evening.
The trip, which marked the first of a two-day amusement park tour for the Cowboys, was preceded by a two-hour full-pad practice at Camping World Stadium.

After loading the buses, several Cowboys showcased their excitement about visiting Universal Studios.
"This is my first time in Orlando, so its been a fun experience so far, " running back Justice Hill said. "I've been to a couple of amusement parks before, but this is a new experience for me."
"We're enjoying the weather and seeing everything," wide receiver James Washington said. "I've been looking forward to Universal Studios. Like Tre (Flowers) said a while back, I'm excited to just be a kid today and ride as many rides as I possibly can. I've never been here, so it's all new to me."
While Washington jumped at the chance to see the entire park, one of his fellow seniors had a much more specific goal in mind.
"I really only want to ride The Incredible Hulk, but other than that I'm looking forward to hanging out with everyone," linebacker Chad Whitener said.
Once the buses arrived at Universal Studios, the Cowboys were cut loose and spread out throughout the park, tackling different rides and attractions across the park throughout the night.

"I'm happy to say that I've been to all of the amusement parks," coach Mike Gundy said. "As I've gotten older, I'm kind of an Epcot guy, but Universal is awesome. My kids have played baseball down here a lot, so we've been here a number of times, and they were still as excited as I was to come back and see the parks again.
This week's Camping World Bowl marks the final contest at Oklahoma State for a highly-successful crop of seniors. That fact hasn't been lost on this year's class either, as they've all been soaking in their final days with the team.
"It's great to be around all of the guys again after having a couple of days off," Whitener said. "We're really just enjoying all of the time we have down here."
The Cowboys will continue to soak up the fun in Orlando tomorrow when they spend Christmas Day at Disney's Magic Kingdom. For more information on OSU's activities this week, visit okstate.com.
