Cowboy Football Sits at No. 15 in Playoff Rankings

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team came in at No. 15 in the second edition of the 2017 College Football Playoff Rankings, which were released Tuesday evening.
Following the release of Tuesday's poll, OSU (7-2; 4-2 Big 12) is one of only four schools that have been included in every set of CFP Rankings since the beginning of 2015. The other three schools are Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State.
Oklahoma State, having won 15 of its last 18 games overall, will face 21st-ranked Iowa State in a top-25 matchup that has high stakes for both teams' Big 12 title aspirations. The Cowboys and Cyclones (6-3; 4-2 Big 12) are currently tied for third place in the league, one game behind both Oklahoma and TCU.
Those four schools make up the quartet of Big 12 programs in this week's College Football Playoff Rankings. Oklahoma (No. 5) leads the pack, followed by TCU (No. 6), OSU (No. 15), while Iowa State (No. 21) rounds out the group.
Oklahoma State's clash with ISU is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Jack Trice Stadium. The game will broadcast on either ABC or ESPN2 depending on regional location.
