STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team remained ranked in both national polls this week, checking in at No. 18 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 21 in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll, both of which were released Sunday.
Oklahoma State (8-3; 5-3 Big 12) has now been ranked in the top 20 of at least one of the national polls for 19 consecutive weeks, dating back to Oct. 31, 2016.
The Cowboys are coming off their third loss of the season, as they were downed by Kansas State, 45-40, at Boone Pickens Stadium Saturday. OSU's loss dropped the Cowboys into a tie for third place in the Big 12 standings with one week remaining in the regular season.
The Pokes are joined in the rankings this week by Oklahoma (No. 3/5) and TCU (No. 10/13). Those three squads also hold the top three spots in the conference standings after this weekend's action.
Oklahoma State will play its final regular season contest this coming Saturday, as the Cowboys host Kansas on senior day at Boone Pickens Stadium. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT on Fox Sports 1.
