Cowboys Move Up to No. 14 in AP Poll

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team moved up one spot to No. 14 in the Associated Press Top 25 this week and remained at No. 14 in the Amway Coaches Poll. Both national rankings were released on Sunday.
OSU did not compete this week, but is coming off a 41-34 win over Texas Tech in Lubbock last weekend.
Led by Mason Rudolph's 376 passing yards and five total touchdowns, along with a 127-yard one-touchdown day from wide receiver James Washington, the Cowboys came out on top thanks to a late 16-yard touchdown run from Rudolph.
The victory marked OSU's eighth-straight win over the Red Raiders, which matches its longest active winning streak over an opponent. Oklahoma State has also won nine straight over Louisiana.
OSU is one of four Big 12 schools to appear in the polls this week, as the Cowboys are joined by Oklahoma (No. 12/12), TCU (No. 6/7) and Texas Tech (No. 24/NR).
The Cowboys will be back in action this week against Baylor. The game, which is scheduled to kickoff at 2:30 p.m. on Fox Sports 1, will serve as OSU's Homecoming game.
