STILLWATER – Several former members of the Oklahoma State football team saw action in week eight of the NFL season this past weekend.
The biggest highlight of the weekend came from Dolphins defensive tackle Vincent Taylor, who continued to excel in his limited action. Taylor's impact this week came on special teams, where he blocked a Justin Tucker field goal attempt in the middle of the third quarter.
Taylor became notable for blocking kicks in Stillwater, which includes leading the nation in 2016 with four blocks by himself en route to earning All-Big 12 honors at the season's end.
Along with Taylor, former OSU defensive end and current Browns standout Emmanuel Ogbah blocked a kick and swatted down a pass against the Minnesota Vikings this week. Ogbah has compiled 24 tackles, recorded two sacks and forced two fumbles so far in 2017.
In Dallas, wide receiver Dez Bryant continued to impress as he hauled in four more Dak Prescott passes to help the Cowboys knock off arch-rival Washington, 33-19, at FedEx Field. Bryant, a former All-American and Biletnikoff Award winner, has tallied 32 catches for 366 yards and four touchdowns in 2017. He is one receiving touchdown shy of setting the Cowboys' all-time record for most receiving touchdowns scored by a wide receiver.
Along with Bryant, another former OSU standout is making headlines in Dallas this week, as tight end Blake Jarwin was signed to the Cowboys' 53-man roster from the team's practice squad.
Another Cowboy finding continued success in the league is Packers offensive lineman Lane Taylor, who was off this week, but still found time to cheer on his alma mater during OSU's 50-39 win over West Virginia in Morgantown this past Saturday.

Nice sequence from Ogbah. Draws a hold because of his pressure, then bats down a pass.
