Cowboys Fifth After Two Rounds In Georgia

Round 2 Results
ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Oklahoma State's men's golf team posted a 2-under 286 during its second round at the Golf Club of Georgia's Lakeside Course on Saturday to slip into fifth place at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate.
The Cowboys stand at 13-under 563 through 36 holes at the par-72, 7,017-yard layout and are two shots behind tournament host Georgia Tech for fourth place. Wake Forest fired a 17-under 271 during its second round to surge into first place at 553, five shots clear of Texas and Duke.
Duke's Alex Smalley followed an opening 67 with a 65 for a 132 tally, which is one shot clear of the field in the individual race.
After opening with a 66, OSU's Matthew Wolff was one of three Cowboys to post a 71 on Saturday. The freshman's 137 total has him tied for seventh place.
Junior Zach Bauchou also carded a 71 to stand at 140 and tied for 17th place.
Sophomore Viktor Hovland's second consecutive 71 knotted him for 32nd place at 142.
Junior Nick Heinen followed an opening 71 with a 73 to come in tied for 43rd place at 144.
Junior Hayden Wood rounded out the OSU lineup with a 75, tying him for 72nd place at 151.
The Cowboys will begin their final round tomorrow morning at 9:55 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Georgia Tech and UCLA. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com
