Cowboys Top Northeastern State in Fall Scrimmage

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State defeated Northeastern State, 11-4, Friday afternoon in an 11-inning scrimmage at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.
The Cowboys finished the game with 10 hits. OSU first baseman Andrew Rosa led the offense with a 3-for-5 showing at the plate that included five RBIs and a home run. Third baseman Michael Neustifter also went 3-for-5.
Five OSU pitchers – Parker Scott, Jonathan Heasley, Joe Lienhard, Carson Teel and Brett Standlee – appeared in the game and held NSU to four runs on seven hits. The Cowboy pitchers combined to record 13 strikeouts.
OSU will conclude its fall schedule with an intrasquad Fall World Series beginning Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. at Reynolds Stadium.
