Cowboys Hold Steady in National Polls

STILLWATER – Following a 41-34 victory over Texas Tech, the Oklahoma State football team remained at No. 15 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 14 in the Amway Coaches Poll, both of which were released Sunday.
Led by Mason Rudolph's 376 passing yards and five total touchdowns, along with a 127-yard, one-touchdown day from wide receiver James Washington, the Cowboys came out on top in Lubbock, Texas thanks to a late 16-yard touchdown run from Rudolph.
The victory marked OSU's eighth-straight win over the Red Raiders, which matches its longest active winning streak over an opponent. Oklahoma State has also won nine straight over Louisiana.
OSU is one of four Big 12 schools to appear in both polls this week, as the Cowboys are joined by Oklahoma (No. 3/3), TCU (No. 8/10) and West Virginia (No. 23/23).
The Cowboys are off next weekend, but will return to the field for their homecoming game on October 14 against Baylor.
