Cowboy Wrestling Coaches Clinic Set for Oct. 21-23

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State wrestling coach John Smith and other members of his staff will host a coaches clinic Oct. 21-23 at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Registration is set to begin Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. in the northwest lobby of Gallagher-Iba Arena. Pre-registration runs through Oct. 17.
The clinic includes observation of practice, meals, a social and various seminars taught by two-time Olympic gold medalist Smith, three-time NCAA champion and Olympian Eric Guerrero, NCAA champion Zack Esposito, two-time NCAA champion Chris Perry, three-time NCAA Champion Alex Dieringer and four-time All-American Tyler Caldwell.
Tentative seminar topics include speed, strength and conditioning training, health and safety of student-athletes, freestyle and Greco program development, youth wrestling and NCAA eligibility.
The cost is $175 for the first coach and $125 for each additional coach if registered by Oct. 17. After that, it's $200 for the first coach and $150 for each additional coach.
