Cowboys in the NFL, Preseason Week 3

STILLWATER – With the National Football League in the thick of its preseason, a handful of former Cowboys are making their mark at the game's highest level with 15 players having entered the third week of preseason games on an NFL roster.
Wide receiver David Glidden's Atlanta Falcons and safety Shamiel Gary's Miami Dolphins clashed to open the week three slate on Thursday. Glidden nabbed a pair of receptions, but it was Gary's Dolpins that would earn the 17-6 win behind the former Cowboy safety's seven tackles and a forced fumble.
That wasn't the only matchup between Cowboys, as Dan Bailey and the Dallas Cowboys traveled to Seattle for a matchup with Ryan Robinson and the Seahawks. Robinson recorded a tackle and a quarterback hit in the 27-17 Seattle win despite Bailey's 40-yard field goal to tie the game right before half.
Â
Justin Gilbert and Emmanuel Ogbah's Cleveland Browns fell, 30-13, to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Friday night, but not for a lack of effort from the Browns' two Pokes. Ogbah picked up a trio of solo tackles and a pass defended, while Gilbert recorded two tackles and defended one pass.
During the Browns' joint camp with the Bucs earlier in the week, Ogbah gave fans an inside look at training camp with a series of practice diaries:
Â
Â
In San Francisco, offensive lineman Lane Taylor and the Green Bay Packers rolled over the 49ers in a 21-10 victory. Russell Okung and the Broncos snagged a 17-9 win over the Rams in Denver.
Cornerback Kevin Peterson recorded a solo tackle for the Chicago Bears on Saturday afternoon, but it wouldn't be enough as the Bears would fall to the Kansas City Chiefs, 23-7.
After being sidelined with an ankle injury earlier in camp, cornerback Perrish Cox returned to practice for the Tennessee Titans on Monday and figures to start in the team's final preseason game on Thursday night at Miami:
