Oklahoma State completed its second weekend of the season by splitting a pair of matches against in-state foes. The Cowgirls traveled to Norman Friday and dropped a 1-0 contest to Bedlam-rival Oklahoma before getting back in the win column with a 4-1 win over Oral Roberts in their home opener Sunday night. OSU is now 2-1-1 on the season with games against UCF and Florida later this week.

- Three different Cowgirls scored goals in OSU's home opener to lead OSU to a 4-1 win over Oral Roberts Sunday. Freshman Julia Lenhardt became the first Cowgirl to turn in a multi-goal performance this season as she scored OSU's first two goals in the match; the goals also marked the first two of Lenhardt's collegiate career.
- OSU outshot the Golden Eagles 19-9, and 10 of those attempts were on goal.
- Twenty-three Cowgirls saw action against ORU.
- Goalie Michela Ongaro recorded seven saves against OU, one off her career high.

- OSU hosts a pair of teams from the Sunshine State this weekend at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex. On Friday night, the Cowgirls square off against UCF at 7 p.m., and they conclude the weekend Sunday at noon with a showdown against top-10 ranked Florida.
- UCF enters Friday's match with a 1-3-0 mark, with all three of its losses coming to ranked teams as the Knights have dropped games to No. 3 Duke, No. 9 North Carolina and No. 24 South Carolina.
- Senior forwards Cortney O'Connell and Carol Rodrigues have each recorded two goals on the season to lead the UCF attack.
- OSU's only previous meeting with UCF came last season in Orlando with the Knights scoring twice in the second half to secure a 2-1 victory.
- Florida was ranked as high as No. 6 in last week's national polls, and the Gators enter this week with a 3-1-0 mark prior to a Friday night game at top-ranked Florida State. - The Gators are led by All-American forward Savannah Jordan, who already has four goals and four assists on the season for a team that has 12 goals on the year.
- OSU has faced Florida each of the last three seasons, losing each contest. Last season in Gainesville, the Cowgirls took the fifth-ranked Gators to overtime before falling, 3-2.
