That kind of sounds like the beginning to a bad joke.
But it actually happened in 1988 when the Cowboys and Red Raiders played in Tokyo. Earlier that day, Barry Sanders was honored as the winner of the Heisman Trophy.
You can't make this stuff up.
Pat Jones and Mike Gundy recently sat down to share their memories and insight on that memorable day.
