2016 OSU Cowgirl Soccer Schedule
STILLWATER, Okla. — Ten home matches highlight Oklahoma State's 2016 soccer schedule, which was released today by head coach Colin Carmichael.

OSU is coming off a 2015 season that saw the Cowgirls finish 9-9-2 overall, which included a 2-4-2 mark in Big 12 Conference play. Carmichael's squad will return seven players who started at least 10 games a year ago, including All-Big 12 performers Natalie Calhoun and Courtney Dike.

Following a preseason exhibition against former conference foe Texas A&M on Aug. 13 in Stillwater, OSU will open the regular season with three-straight road games as the Cowgirls travel to Georgia to take on the Bulldogs in Athens on Aug. 19 before a Sunday contest at Mercer.

After a non-conference match against Oklahoma in Norman on Aug. 26, OSU will be at home for its next five contests. The Cowgirls' home opener is Aug. 28 against Oral Roberts, and they will be back in action against a pair of perennial NCAA Tournament teams Sept. 2 against UCF and Sept. 4 vs. Florida.

OSU opens Big 12 Conference play Sept. 23 against Iowa State and will also host Baylor, OU and TCU in league action. The Cowgirls will face Texas, Texas Tech, Kansas and West Virginia on the road.

Postseason play begins Nov. 2 at the Big 12 Soccer Championship in Kansas City, Mo., with the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship opening play on Nov. 11.
