Cowboys Head To Lone Star State For Aggie Invite

BRYAN, Texas — Oklahoma State's men's golf team will continue its spring slate this weekend when it takes part in the Aggie Invitational at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas.
The eighth-ranked Cowboys will be one of 15 teams in action this weekend at the 54-hole event. The tournament will feature a 36-hole day on Saturday followed by Sunday's final round at the par-72, 7,146-yard layout.
The Cowboy lineup will consist of senior Jordan Niebrugge, sophomore Brendon Jelley, junior Wyndham Clark, sophomore Kristoffer Ventura and freshman Nick Heinen. OSU will begin its first round at 9:10 a.m. (CST) and will be grouped with Michigan and Texas Tech.
OSU has won the event on two occasions, claiming the inaugural tournament in 2005. The Cowboys also won the team title in 2009.
Rickie Fowler became OSU's first Aggie Invitational medalist in 2009. Peter Uihlein won the tournament two years later.
