- Leyton Hammonds posted his first career double-double with 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.
- OSU has lost its last three games at Texas Tech, but still leads the overall series 41-18.
- Tonight was OSU's second overtime game of the year. The Cowboys lost to George Mason in overtime at the Charleston Classic in Novem-ber.
- Chris Olivier's three-point play with 1:54 in the game gave the Cowboys a 53-48 lead. TTU's Todrick Gotcher tied the game with a 3-pointer with 35 seconds to play. Gotcher would hit two more game-tying threes in overtime.
- After scoring 10 points in the first half, Jawun Evans missed the second half with an injury.
- OSU out-rebounded the Red Raiders 14 boards. OSU's previous best rebounding margin in Big 12 play this year was +7 over Kansas.
- The Cowboys led 31-23 at the half. OSU is 10-3 this year when leading at the half.
- OSU held the Red Raiders to 24.2 percent shooting in the opening half, which is OSU's best defensive first half in Big 12 play.
- Anthony Allen blocked a pair of shots for his 14th career multi-block game.
- The Cowboys missed their first five shots in the game, but their first make (a Leyton Hammonds' 3-pointer with 14:30 on the first half clock) gave them a 5-4 lead.
- OSU has made at least one three-pointer in 506 consecutive games dating back to Jan. 13, 2001.
- The Cowboys have blocked at least one shot in every game this season, and entered tonight's contest ranked 75th nationally with 4.4 blocks per game.
