Barry J. Sanders Secures Big 12 Weekly Honor

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State running back Barry J. Sanders was honored as the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week, it was announced today.
Sanders set new career bests with 138 all-purpose yards and a 56-yard kickoff return against Oklahoma. In addition to his 56-yard kickoff return, he also had a kickoff return of 49 yards. His two kickoff returns of 56 and 49 yards against the Sooners were the two longest of his career and were the two longest kickoff returns for Oklahoma State this season.
With this honor, Sanders joins a list of seven Cowboys who have combined to earn a total of 10 Big 12 weekly honors this season. That is the highest total for any Big 12 school this season. The list:
