2016 Cowgirl Soccer Season Superlatives

• Oklahoma State finished 9-9-3 overall and 3-4-1 in Big 12 Conference play.
• The Cowgirls were awarded a berth in the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship for the third time in the last four years and the ninth time in the last 11 seasons. The NCAA appearance was the 10th in program history.
• OSU had a pair of All-Big 12 Conference performers in 2016 as senior forward Courtney Dike was named to the All-Big 12 First Team, while junior defender Natalie Calhoun earned All-Big 12 Second Team accolades.
• Courtney Dike was named the 2016 Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Year. She became only the second OSU player to earn Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year honors, joining Yolanda Odenyo (2008).
• Natalie Calhoun and Courtney Dike became just the third and fourth players in OSU history to earn All-Big 12 status four times in a career, joining former Cowgirl All-Americans Yolanda Odenyo and AD Franch.
• Midfielder Jaci Jones was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
• Senior forward Courtney Dike was named to the NSCAA All-Central Region First Team, and senior defender Natalie Calhoun earned a spot on the NSCAA All-Central Region Third Team.
• Dike ended her career as a three-time NSCAA All-Central Region honoree as she made the third team as a sophomore and junior before her first-team status as a senior.
• Dike was also listed on the TopDrawerSoccer.com Women's National Top 100 Players for 2016. She was ranked No. 67 on the final postseason list.
• OSU led the Big 12 with 93 saves in 2016.
• Courtney Dike finished her career ranked in the top five on OSU's all-time lists in several offensive categories, including:
                 * Goals – 4th with 31
                 * Assists – 5th with 21
                 * Points – 3rd with 83
                 * Shots – 5th with 204
• Courtney Dike ranked second in the Big 12 in scoring in 2016 with 27 points. Her 10 goals were second most in the league and her seven assists ranked fourth.
• Dike led the Big 12 in goals per game (0.48) and points per game (1.29).
• Junior goalie Michela Ongaro led the Big 12 with a career-high 88 saves. That total also ranked as the eighth most in a single season in OSU history.
• Ongaro moved into fourth on OSU's career lists in shutouts (13) and saves (203).
• Sophomore Haley Woodard ranked ninth in the Big 12 with six goals.
• Junior Anna Beffer finished with five assists, a total that ranked eighth in the Big 12.
• OSU earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 15th-straight year with a team GPA that exceeded 3.0.
• Courtney Dike was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team, marking OSU's first Academic All-American since 2011.
• Dike was also named to the NSCAA Women's Scholar All-America Second Team.

Also picking up the honor for the Cowgirls were, Anna Beffer, Holly Brehmer, Katie Howard, Christina Jean-Charles, Michela Ongaro, Joanna Robertson, Laurene Tresfield and Marlo Zoller.
