Oklahoma State Takes Top 10 Ranking Into Bedlam

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team is ranked No. 11 in this week's Associated Press poll and is No. 10 in the Amway Coaches poll, it was announced today.
Winners of seven in a row and nine of their last 10 true road games, the Cowboys (9-2 overall; 7-1 Big 12) are hunting their fifth 10-win season in the last seven years.
The Cowboys face Oklahoma in Norman this week. The Sooners are No. 7 by both the Associated Press and the coaches. For the second straight year, Bedlam is a winner-take-all duel for the Big 12 championship and both teams carry a top-10 national ranking into the game. Saturday's game marks the sixth time in the last nine years that Bedlam has had a direct impact on who won the Big 12.
When the Cowboys play the Sooners, they'll be in search of their seventh with over an AP top-10 team since 2008. The Pokes beat No. 10 West Virginia earlier this season.
This week's Bedlam contest marks the 82nd time in the Cowboys' last 113 games that OSU has been ranked by the AP entering a game.
The College Football Playoff rankings will be released Tuesday evening.
