Cowgirls’ Dike Earns Academic All-America Status

AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma State senior Courtney Dike has been named a 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-American for Division I women's soccer, it was announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
A forward for the Cowgirls, Dike was named to the 2016 Academic All-America Second Team. She becomes the sixth player in OSU soccer history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America honors and the first since Krista Lopez in 2011.
Dike will graduate with honors in May 2017, and she is concurrently working on bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting while also minoring in Spanish. Carrying a 3.85 grade point average, Dike is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection and also a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 honoree.
On the field, Dike capped a standout career in 2016 as she was named the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Year and an All-Big 12 First Team performer. She finished the season with 10 goals and seven assists and ends her career ranked in the top five on OSU's all-time lists in goals (31), assists (21), points (83) and shots (204).
