Dike Named Academic All-District

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State forward Courtney Dike has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Women's Soccer Team.

A senior for the Cowgirls, Dike was one of 11 players named to the Academic All-District 7 First Team and will now be on the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot. The Academic All-District teams, which recognize student-athletes for performances athletically and in the classroom, are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada, with District 7 including Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.

Dike is the Big 12 Conference's leading scorer this season, with her nine goals leading the league and her seven assists ranking second. Her standout senior year has seen her move into the top five on the OSU career lists in goals, assists, points and shots.

In the classroom, Dike will graduate with honors in May 2017, and she is concurrently working on bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting while also minoring in Spanish. Carrying a 3.85 grade point average, Dike is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection, and she was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Second Team in 2013 and 2014.
