Cowgirl Soccer: Looking Back & Ahead

Oklahoma State took its first road trip of the 2015 season last week and dropped a pair of matches to nationally ranked teams. The Cowgirls took No. 5 Florida to overtime before falling, 3-2, and then traveled to 19th-ranked UCF and owned a 1-0 lead at intermission before suffering a 2-1 setback.

Stars Of The Weekend
Courtney Dike was a force to be reckoned with in leading the OSU attack over the weekend. She factored in both goals against Florida, notching an assist on the first and then finding the back of the net herself, and recorded seven shots in the two games.
Defensively, wide backs Kelsey Bass and Christina Jean-Charles stood out in playing key roles for the Cowgirls.

- OSU needed just 2:33 to score its first goal against Florida as the Cowgirls took a 1-0 lead when Marlo Zoller finished on a double assist from Christina Jean-Charles and Courtney Dike.
- The Cowgirls recorded their first-ever goals against Florida after being shutout in their previous two meetings with the Gators (2013 and 2014) and being outscored 6-0 in those matches.
- Allie Stephenson recorded her first goal of the season with a 35-yard blast in the first half against UCF. The goal was the 15th of her career, the second-highest total among active Cowgirls.
