Cowgirls Prepare For Challenges In Florida

Oklahoma State returns to the pitch this weekend with its first road tests of the 2015 season. The Cowgirls will take on No. 5 Florida in Gainesville Friday at 6 p.m. (CST) before concluding their trip at 19th-ranked UCF on Sunday at 11 a.m. (CST).
The Cowgirls are 2-1-0 on the season and coming off a 4-0 win over Georgia in Stillwater. OSU sophomore Holly Brehmer leads the Big 12 Conference with three goals and is in the top 10 nationally with a pair of game winners, while the defense has recorded shutouts in two of its three matches.
Florida is 3-1-0 following an upset of top-ranked and defending NCAA champ Florida State last Sunday. The preseason favorites to win the Southeastern Conference, the Gators' lone loss this season came in overtime at nationally ranked Ohio State.
UCF will be on the road Friday night at Ole Miss, and the Knights will take a 3-1-0 record into that match – their lone loss came to Florida in the season opener.
