Oklahoma State picked up a pair of victories last weekend to run its winning streak to three and improve to 5-4-0 on the season. The Cowgirls knocked off 18th-ranked Arizona State, 3-2, Friday night in Stillwater before travelling to Kansas City and defeating UMKC by a 2-1 count on Sunday.

There were plenty of Cowgirls to choose from, but Madison Mercado had an impressive showing in the OSU attack, recording seven shots on the weekend, four of them on goal, and two goals (while also having a goal wiped out by an offsides call). Defensively, Delaney Kiely wreaked havoc from her center back spot and also delivered the Cowgirls' first goal against Arizona State.

- OSU's 3-2 win over No. 18 Arizona State was its first victory over a ranked opponent since 2013 when the Cowgirls topped No. 7 Texas Tech in the semifinals of the Big 12 Soccer Championship in Kansas City.
- The Cowgirls trailed ASU, 2-1, at intermission before tying the game in the 58th minute and taking the lead in the 69th. It marked OSU's first come-from-behind win since Sept. 21, 2014, against Tulsa.
- All four of the OSU goal scorers last weekend — Delaney Kiely, Laurene Tresfield, Anna Beffer and Madison Mercado — tallied their first goals of the 2015 season.
- Mercado became the second Cowgirl to record multiple goals in a game this season with two against UMKC. Holly Brehmer also had two against Georgia earlier this season. It's the first time since 2012 OSU has had multiple players record multi-goal games in a season.
- OSU became the first team to win on UMKC's home field this season. The Kangaroos entered the match with a 4-0-0 mark at home.
