Cowboys Wrap Up Play At PGA Championship

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Four former members of the Oklahoma State men's golf team wrapped up play at the PGA Championship on Sunday at Whistling Straits.
Jason Day won his first major championship after firing a closing 67 to finish at 20-under 268 and three shots clear of the field.
Leading the way for the Cowboy quartet was Rickie Fowler, who closed with a 71 to finish at 4-under 284. With his 1-under fourth round, he moved up six spots into a tie for 30th place.
Hunter Mahan posted his second consecutive 73 to dip seven spots into a tie for 43rd place at 2-under 286.
Charles Howell III, who opened with consecutive 2-under 70s, finished with a 74 to tie for 65th place at 291.
Morgan Hoffmann closed with a 78 to finish at 296 and tied for 75th place.
