STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State football team completed its seventh practice of fall camp in overcast conditions Monday morning at the Sherman E. Smith Training Facility. After practice, linebacker Seth Jacobs shared his thoughts on the session:

On practice:
"Practice went well. It was very competitive. Everybody was hustling. We're trying to get better each and every day. It's good that we have a great offense to compete against, and it just makes our defense better every day."
On what the team has learned the most in the first half of fall camp:
"Just playing for each other. Trying to get better every day and trying to execute our defense; play with great effort and execute."
On what makes the team so close:
"There's a lot of guys who came in the same recruiting class who have been young and played young together, and gone through a lot of adversity. Going through adversity brings a lot of people together, so that's one thing I would say that's helped us."
On how much better the linebackers are this year than last:
"We have a lot more depth. We have a lot more guys that are healthy and able to play. We're playing with phenomenal effort and a lot of tenacity out there. We've just got to keep it up and get better every day."
