Stakes high as rivals battle for Big 12 supremacy
Oklahoma State looks to maintain its spot atop the Big 12 Conference standings this weekend when the 11th-ranked Cowboys battle rival Oklahoma in the Bedlam Series. Friday's opener is set for 7 p.m. at Tulsa's ONEOK Field before the series shifts to Oklahoma City and the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for the final two games, with Saturday's contest scheduled for 7 p.m. and Sunday's finale tabbed for 4 p.m.
OSU is 29-14 on the season, which includes a 12-6 conference mark, and the Cowboys have won five of their six Big 12 series in 2015 as they look to repeat as league champs.
OU is 29-19, ranked 25th nationally and brings a 10-5 conference record into the series. The Sooners and TCU are tied in the league standings with both, as well as OSU, maintaining a .667 winning percentage in Big 12 games.
