PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - Former Oklahoma State All-American Rickie Fowler secured his third career professional win and second career PGA Tour victory on Sunday, claiming a dramatic playoff triumph over Sergio Garcia and Kevin Kisner at THE PLAYERS Championship.

Fowler opened with a pair of 69s before carding a 71 on Saturday.
His 5-under final round included a 31 on the inward nine that featured four birdies and an eagle over his final six holes. Fowler birdied the 13th to get back to even for the day before going on his impressive four-hole closing stretch.
