Cowboys Secure NCAA Bid

INDIANAPOLIS - Oklahoma State's men's golf team will begin its quest for the 11th NCAA title in program history when it competes at the Yale Regional in New Haven, Connecticut. The Cowboys learned their regional destination with today's announcement of the championship field by the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee.
Contested at The Course at Yale, the regional will feature 14 teams and will take place May 14-16. The Cowboys, who claimed their 10th regional title last year, will be the No. 4 seed. Vanderbilt will be the top seed, while LSU will enter as the No. 2 seed and South Florida will be seeded third. Arkansas rounds out the top five.
In total, six regionals will be conducted with three regionals featuring 13 teams and 10 individuals. The other three regionals will consist of 14 teams and five individuals. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals.This year's championship final will be conducted May 29-June 3 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla.
