Several Cowboy Wrestlers to Compete at U.S. Open

STILLWATER -- Seven Oklahoma State wrestlers will compete in this weekend's US Open at the junior level alongside five others involved with the Cowboy Wrestling program, who will wrestle at the senior level.

Representing the Pokes in the junior division are 2015 NCAA qualifier Gary Wayne Harding (60 kg), Donald Cannon (60 kg), Mike Magaldo (63 kg), Jonce Blaylock (70 kg),Chandler Rogers (70 kg), Chance Marsteller (74 kg) and Preston Weigel (97 kg).

Four former Cowboys will seek a US Open title at the senior level in All-American Jon Morrison (61 kg), four-time All-American and two-time NCAA finalist Tyler Caldwell (74 kg), two-time NCAA champion Chris Perry (86 kg) and All-American Cayle Byers (97 kg). Frank Perrelli, a club coach for OSU, will compete at 57 kg.

The junior and senior tournaments are set for May 8-9. Fans can watch the action live on flowrestling.org with a subscription or catch the senior-level finals live on Universal Sports Network, starting at 9 p.m. CT.
