A sophomore right-hander from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Buffett is 2-1 with a 1.65 ERA in nine outings this season. A year ago, he was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team after going 2-1 with a 2.95 ERA in 14 appearances.
