As well as the Cowboys shot it early on, West Virginia still held an 18-14 lead at the time of OSU's first miss, thanks to 7-of-10 shooting and 10 early points off Cowboy turnovers. Both teams shot well throughout the first half, with the Cowboys finishing going 14-of-23 (.609 pct.) and the Mountaineers shooting 13-of-25 (.520 pct.) from the field. West Virginia led at the break, 39-32.

► Oklahoma State trailed by as many as 14 points early in the second half, but trimmed the deficit to six with 10:28 left. From that point, West Virginia opened its lead back up and while OSU was able to hang around, the Mountaineers kept the Cowboys at arm's length and were never seriously in danger.
