The Oklahoma State win...

Henry Iba won nine over top-10 teams in the 22 years during his tenure that the Associated Press ranked teams.

► Four Cowboys turned in double-figure scoring totals (18 for Le'Bryan Nash, 15 for Anthony Hickey, 13 for Phil Forte and 10 for Jeff Newberry). It marked the fourth time that at least four Cowboys scored in double-figures against a Big 12 opponent. Previous occurrences came against Kansas State in Stillwater, against Oklahoma in Norman and against Baylor in Stillwater.
► OSU started the second half with a 14-1 run that changed the complexion of the game. The Cowboy run turned a 42-30 deficit into a 44-42 advantage with 16:27 remaining. The Pokes held Kansas scoreless for one five-minute and 38-second stretch of the second half. During that span, OSU went on a 6-0 run. From there, the teams exchanged blows and OSU held on to win.
► Kansas outrebounded Oklahoma State, 20-9, in the first half, but OSU owned a 26-15 rebounding edge in the second half.
► Phil Forte started the game despite battling flu-like symptoms the second half of the week. Forte did not participate in shoot around earlier in the day. Still, he played 29 minutes and finished with 13 points, two assists and two steals.
► Le'Bryan Nash was whistled for his second foul at the 10:52 mark of the first half. With Forte far from full-speed and the Cowboys in need of scoring punch, coach Travis Ford elected to keep Nash on the floor for most of the remainder of the first half. The gamble paid off with Nash avoiding a third foul before halftime.
► First-half fouls were an issue for Michael Cobbins as well, who picked up his second with 8:46 left in the first half and did not play the
