IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma State sophomore infielder Kevin Bradley has been named the first Big 12 Newcomer of the Week for the 2015 baseball season, it was announced by the conference office today.
In his first three games in an OSU uniform, Bradley hit .444 (4-for-9) with a home run, double and five RBIs in a three-game series at 18th-ranked Arizona State. He added a pair of runs and walks and recorded an .889 slugging percentage
A transfer from State College of Florida, where he redshirted last season after playing as a freshman at Clemson, Bradley started all three games for the Cowboys in Tempe, two at third base and one at first. He recorded RBIs in each of the three contests, and in the series finale, the left-handed hitter lifted OSU to a 9-8 win by going 2-for-3 and delivering a game-high three RBIs, including blasting a two-run home run in the fifth inning.
