OSU Ranked 10th in Learfield Directors’ Cup

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is in 10th place in the first installment of the 2015-16 Learfield Sports Directors Cup standings, the national all-sports competition between divisions.
With a total of 128 points, OSU is the highest ranked Big 12 school in the standings, 42 points ahead of Texas.
OSU claimed two Big 12 team championships this fall from men's and women's cross country as well as an individual conference championship from men's cross country standout Vegard Oelstad. The Cowgirls went on to finish seventh at the NCAA Championships, their highest finish in program history, while the Cowboys finished 18th at the event.
OSU finished 28th overall in last year's final standings as the Pokes sent 15 of their 16 teams to postseason national championships.
