Cowboys in the NFL, Week 16

STILLWATER – Several former members of the Oklahoma State football team saw action in Week 16 of the NFL season.
Making his first start with the Houston Texans, quarterback Brandon Weeden delivered a sensational performance en route to a 34-6 win over the Tennessee Titans.
In addition to clinching the AFC South with the victory, Weeden became the first quarterback in Texans' franchise history to throw for two touchdowns and rush for a score in a single contest.
In one of the most exciting games of the week, Antonio Smith's Denver Broncos clinched a playoff berth with a 20-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime. With the win, Smith joined Russell Okung, Lane Taylor and Weeden as former Cowboys on teams headed to the NFL playoffs this season.
Also seeing action was Dan Bailey of the Dallas Cowboys, who dropped a 16-6 decision to the Buffalo Bills. Bailey connected on 2-of-3 field goal attempts, including a long of 46 yards.
