Cowboys in the NFL, Week 12

STILLWATER – Several former members of the Oklahoma State football team saw action in Week 12 of the NFL season.
Despite being a part of a losing effort against the Carolina Panthers, both Dez Bryant and Dan Bailey contributed to the Dallas Cowboys'offensive attack. Bailey was perfect on two field goal attempts, including a 48-yarder in the third quarter. The former OSU standout has connected of 21-of-22 field goal attempts this season, rounding out to a 96 percent conversion percentage that ties for second in the league.
Against a tough Carolina defense, Bryant snagged two receptions for 26 yards. Also contributing for the Cowboys was Tyler Patmon, who recorded a pair of tackles for Dallas' secondary.
In one of his best performances of the season, cornerback Perrish Cox registered five tackles and three passes defended in Tennessee's close loss to Oakland. The Waco, Texas native has been a key fixture of the Titans' defensive unit this season, one that ranks seventh in the league in total defense.
Tight end Brandon Pettigrew also reached the box score with a 21-yard reception in Detroit's 45-14 victory over Philadelphia, while Justin Gilbert contributed a tackle in Cleveland's thriller against Baltimore on Monday night.
