Cowboy Football Checks In At No. 9/10

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team maintained its hold on a top-10 ranking in the latest set of polls released Sunday, coming in at No. 9 in the Associated Press rankings and No. 10 in the USA Today Coaches poll.
Despite suffering their first loss of the season on Saturday, the Cowboys have now been ranked in the top 10 for five-consecutive weeks. In the team's 114-year history, OSU has been ranked in the top ten a total of 52 times, with 31 of those selections coming under head coach Mike Gundy.
Oklahoma State is joined in the rankings by a trio of Big 12 teams, including Oklahoma (No. 5/5), Baylor (No. 7/7) and TCU (No. 15/16).
The Cowboys will host their second-straight top-10 battle at Boone Pickens Stadium next weekend, as they take on fifth-ranked Oklahoma at 7 p.m.
