Cowgirls Collect All-Big 12 Honors, Join Elite List

IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State had four players honored by the Big 12 Conference today, including a trio of veterans that added their names to a select group of Cowgirls.
In a vote of the league's head coaches, Allie Stephenson, Natalie Calhoun and Courtney Dike each garnered 2015 All-Big 12 accolades, while Marlo Zoller was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
For Stephenson, Calhoun and Dike, 2015 marks the third time in each player's career they have been named All-Big 12. Only four other Cowgirls – AD Franch, Yolanda Odenyo, Melinda Mercado and Carson Michalowski – have achieved All-Big 12 status at least three times.
Stephenson was named an All-Big 12 First Team midfielder for the second consecutive year, making the senior only the fifth OSU player to earn first-team all-conference honors multiple times in a career. She joins former Cowgirl standouts Franch, Odenyo, Melinda Mercado and Krista Lopez on that list.
A native of Lee's Summit, Mo., Stephenson is tied for the OSU team lead with five goals this season and has added a pair of assists, with her 12 points making her the Cowgirls' second-leading scorer in 2015.
Along with her back-to-back first-team honors, Stephenson was an All-Big 12 Second Team performer as a sophomore in 2013.
The 2015 campaign marks the third in a row that juniors Calhoun and Dike have been recognized on the All-Big 12 Second Team.
A defender from Sachse, Texas, Calhoun is one of only four Cowgirls to start all 19 games this season. She has logged nearly 1,700 minutes of action and helped anchor a defense that has recorded eight shutouts from her center back spot.
Dike ranks among the Big 12's most prolific scorers and is in the top 10 in the league in goals (5), assists (7) and points (17). In 18 games, the forward from Edmond, Okla., has recorded a team-high 51 shots, 20 of those on goal.
Zoller has started all but one game for the Cowgirls in her first collegiate season and is among the OSU leaders in goals (4) and shots (48) while also collecting a pair of assists.
