October 04, 2015 | Cowboy Football
STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team maintained its stay in the USA Today Coaches and Associated Press polls, coming in at No. 19 and No. 21, respectively, in Sunday's rankings.
Oklahoma State bolstered its perfect record with Saturday's 36-34 win over Kansas State, which marked the team's 11th 5-0 start in school history. Ben Grogan's field goal with less than a minute remaining sealed the win, while quarterback Mason Rudolph threw for 437 yards and three touchdowns.
This week's ranking extends a run of four-consecutive weeks in the polls for the Cowboys. OSU debuted at No. 25 in both sets of rankings on Sept. 13, and has earned a top-20 spot in each of the last two weeks.
Oklahoma State is joined by three other Big 12 teams in the national rankings, including TCU (No. 2/2), Baylor (No. 3/4) and Oklahoma (No. 9/10).
The Cowboys will hit the road for their next contest, as they take on West Virginia on Saturday, Oct. 10.
