Cowboys Close Out Fall At U.S. Collegiate

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Oklahoma State's men's golf team will get its final event of the fall season underway on Friday when it begins play at the U.S. Collegiate Championship at The Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Ga.
The 54-hole event will run from Friday through Sunday at the par-72, 7,017-yard layout with 18 holes being contested each day. OSU will begin play at 11:30 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Florida State and Georgia Tech.
The Cowboys, who are coming off their second consecutive runner-up showing after finishing second at the Erin Hills Invitational, will feature a lineup consisting of senior Jordan Niebrugge, junior Wyndham Clark, sophomores Brendon Jelley and Stratton Nolen as well as redshirt freshman Hayden Wood.
Junior Zachary Olsen will compete as an individual.
OSU won the event for the first time in 2013 and produced its lone champion at the event in 2008 with Trent Leon capturing medalist honors.
