Holliday Talks Cowboy Baseball
October 15, 2015 | Cowboy Baseball
STILLWATER, Okla. — Oklahoma State will soon conclude its fall practice schedule, and with workouts winding down, head coach Josh Holliday likes the direction his club has taken over the last month as the Cowboys eye another successful season in 2016.
Â
"There's still a lot of work to do, but internally we really like this group," Holliday said. "They continue to follow the tradition of playing a brand of baseball that represents OSU. They're gritty, they're tough and we're going to keep working at this thing until we get it right."
Â
The Cowboys will hold nine more intrasquad scrimmages at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium to close out the fall, with those scheduled for Oct. 15-16, 19-21, 23 and 27-29.
Â
OSU returns 20 letterwinners, including three All-Big 12 Conference performers, from last season's 38-20 club that hosted an NCAA Regional for the second-straight year.
