STILLWATER – Oklahoma State welcomes several new freshmen to the Cowboy wrestling team. Okstate.com spoke with some of the athletes about their interests off the mat. Their comments:
Jonce Blaylock, 149 pounds
What is one talent you'd most like to have?
“Super strength.”
Who is your favorite athlete to watch in another sport?
“Derek Jeter and Kevin Durant.”
If your house/apartment was on fire and you only had time to save one possession, what would it be and why?
“My laptop because I am borrowing someone else's and it has all of my school work on it.”
Xbox or PlayStation, and what's your game of choice?
“Xbox and UFC.”
What is the best part of being a Cowboy?
“Being a part of the most dominant sports program and wrestling for Coach Smith.”
If you could compare yourself to an animal, what would it be and why?
“Orangutan.”
What is your biggest pet peeve?
“Lazy people.”
What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
“Pork chops.”
Dusty Hone, 133 pounds
If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and why?
“Deep in the mountains to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature.”
What is your favorite wrestling moment?
“When I won Senior Nationals in Virginia Beach because me and my family put a lot of hard work into it.”
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be and why?
“My grandpa because he is one of the hardest workers I know.”
Who is the most played musician on your iPod?
“Alabama and George Strait.”
Who is your celebrity crush?
“Mila Kunis.”
What do you like most about Stillwater?
“Very nice and genuine people that will go out of their way to help you with almost anything.”
Who is your biggest inspiration?
“My dad, Chris Hone, and my brothers, Zach and Cody Hone.”
Donald Cannon, 125 pounds
What is your favorite wrestling moment?
“Winning my first state title.”
What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
“Steak and mashed potatoes.”
What is your favorite Stillwater restaurant and what do you get there?
“Everywhere that serves pancakes.”

“Hearing someone say what their pet peeve is.”

“Own an Audi R8, win a national title, and travel the world.”
