Former Cowboy Letterwinner Passes Away

STILLWATER - Former Oklahoma State golf letterwinner George Bigham passed away on Sunday, January 25.
Bigham, who lettered for head coach Labron Harris, Sr. from 1950-52, was also a veteran of the United States Army and was a PGA member for 60 years.
Known as the "Dean of Northern Ohio Golf", he continued to teach after retiring as head golf professional at Oakwood Country Club.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 in South Euclid, Ohio. The family requests no flowers please and to support a memorial donation to Bigham's passion for improving the lives of children through the vehicle of Golf at the First Tee of Cleveland, c/o Pat LoPresti, 3841 Washington Park Blvd., Newburg Hts., OH 44105.
