STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State football team is ranked in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls released today, rising three places to No. 21 in the AP Poll and making its season debut in the USA Today rankings at No. 23.
The Cowboys (3-1 overall, 1-0 Big 12) made their first appearance in the AP Poll two weeks ago at No. 25 and rose one spot in last week's poll.
OSU defeated Texas Tech, 45-35, Thursday night in front of a national television audience on ESPN. The Cowboys have now won three-straight games since narrowly dropping their season-opener to defending national champion Florida State.
The Cowboys return to action Saturday as they face the Iowa State Cyclones at 11 a.m. at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater. The game will be televised live on Fox Sports 1.
