Parking Procedures For Thursday Night Football

STILLWATER, Okla. -
Fans attending Thursday's football game between Oklahoma State and Texas Tech should be aware of the following changes to parking procedures for the contest. The game is set to get underway at 6:30 p.m. in Stillwater.
· Faculty, staff and students will be asked to vacate specific POSSE lots (orange and gold) in close proximity to the stadium no later than 12:30 (orange lots) and 2:30 (gold lots) on Sept. 25. POSSE lots immediately adjacent to the stadium (black) will be closed all day. In addition, lot 36, east of Willard Hall will close at 4 p.m.
· The Monroe St. Garage will be available the entire day for faculty and staff, parking will be free of charge and busses will be available.
· The POSSE lots will be the same as a Saturday game, but with different opening times.
· For a Saturday game with a 6:30 p.m. start, lots would normally open at noon, but for Thursday's
game they will not open until 3:00 p.m.
· Setup time for campus tailgating will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
· RV lots will open at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday as well.

· Classes normally scheduled for the late afternoon and evening on Thursday will not be cancelled. However, faculty members have the discretion to make instructional adjustments in their class schedule as they deem appropriate.
· Student commuter parking will be restricted all day into the lots directly adjacent to the stadium. Additionally, the lots directly adjacent to the Wes Watkins Center will be closed at noon and students will be directed to alternate parking locations.
· For students coming to campus for late afternoon classes, Parking and Transit will stop checking permits on all non-Posse Club campus parking lots at 3 p.m.
· Monroe St. and Hester St. control gates will open at 3 p.m.
· On-campus bus routes will begin reduced service at 4 p.m. Off-campus bus routes will run normally.
