Hill, who attended Coffee High School in Pearson, Ga., is a junior-college transfer who completed his first two seasons at Garden City Community College. He was a highly recruited athlete on both the gridiron and the track and chose Oklahoma State over a lengthy list of others.
In his first game against Florida State, Hill tallied 278 all-purpose yards to set a school record for the most yards by a Cowboy in his debut. He racked up 62 receiving yards, 44 rushing yards and 172 return yards against the top-ranked team in the country.
Hill also made a big impression in his first year on the track at Oklahoma State, winning a Big 12 title in the 200 meters and later earning All-America honors in the same event. He also finished runner-up in the 60 meters at the indoor conference meet to help the Cowboys win their first team Big 12 Track and Field Championship.
