Cowboy Wrestling Ranked Sixth in W.I.N. Preseason Rankings

STILLWATER, Okla. – Oklahoma State's wrestling squad is ranked sixth in Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine's preseason Tournament Power Index, which predicts how teams will finish in the 2015 NCAA Championships in St. Louis next March.
Occupying the top spot in the rankings is Minnesota, with Cornell and Iowa tied for second, Ohio State at No. 4 and Penn State rounding out the top five.
The Pokes return five NCAA qualifiers in Anthony Collica (141), Josh Kindig (149), Alex Dieringer (165), Nolan Boyd (184) and Austin Marsden (285). Kindig and Marsden earned All-American status at the 2014 NCAA Championships, earning second and eighth, respectively, and Alex Dieringer won the individual title at 157 pounds.
The Cowboys are the top-ranked Big 12 team in the poll, with Iowa State at No. 12 and Oklahoma at No. 21. West Virginia is not present in the rankings.
