Cowboy Wrestling Releases 2014-15 Schedule

STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State wrestling squad released its schedule for the 2014-15 season, coach John Smith announced Thursday.
The Pokes boast an exciting home schedule, including marquee matchups with in-state rival Oklahoma, Iowa and Penn State at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The season kicks off with three-consecutive duals on the road, beginning Nov. 16 in Miami, Okla., as the Cowboys take on Junior College National Champions Northeastern Oklahoma and South Dakota State in a double header, followed by a trip to Minneapolis on Nov. 29 to take on top-ranked Minnesota.
The Cowboys will also see tournament action on Nov. 22 at the Lindenwood Open.
John Smith and his squad, coming off an 11-5 season, will head to Stillwater for their first home dual of the season as the take on OU on Dec. 7.
The Cowboys will spend Christmas break in tournament action, traveling to Reno, Nev., for the Reno Tournament of Champions on Dec. 21, and then bringing in the New Year in Chattanooga, Tenn., for their third appearance at the Southern Scuffle on New Year's Day.
The two winningest teams in college wrestling will face off on Jan. 11 as the Iowa Hawkeyes make their way to Gallagher-Iba Arena.
They will wrap up the three-dual home stand against West Virginia and Pittsburgh the following weekend.
The Cowboys will alternate between home and away duals for conference action, with Bedlam in Norman on Feb. 8.
OSU will face four-time defending NCAA Champions Penn State on Feb. 15, hosting the Nittany Lions for the first time since 2007 in its final home dual of the season.
The Pokes wrap up their 2014-15 campaign with a double header on the road, going head-to-head with North Carolina State and North Carolina.
To start off the postseason, the Cowboys will travel to Ames, Iowa, with hopes of earning their third-straight Big 12 Championship on March 7.
St. Louis will host this year's national championship on March 19-21.
