Cowboys Set For OFCC/Fighting Illini Invite

OLYMPIA FIELDS, Ill. - Oklahoma State's men's golf team will resume its fall slate this weekend when it takes part in the Olympia Fields/Fighting Illini Invitational at Olympia Fields Country Club.

The Cowboys opened the 2014-15 campaign with an eighth-place showing last month at The Carmel Cup at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

This week's field features 15 teams and will get underway with first-round action on Friday. The 54-hole event will run through Sunday with 18 holes being played each day at the par-70, 7,142-yard layout.

OSU's lineup will consist of sophomores Zachary Olsen and Wyndham Clark as well as redshirt freshmen Brendon Jelley, Stratton Nolen and true freshman Sam Stevens.

The Cowboys will begin their first round Friday morning at 9 a.m. and will be grouped with Baylor and Florida State.
